Mountain gorillas are the main attraction at Mgahinga National Park, which protects the Ugandan portion of the Virungas, an imposing string of nine freestanding extinct and active volcanoes that run along the border with Rwanda and the Congo.
Mgahinga National Park hosts habituated groups of the rare golden monkey.
DAY. 1.
Mgahinga National park is found in western part of Uganda on the boarders of DRC Congo and Rwanda, and Uganda shares gorillas with Congo in virunga and mgahinga in Rwanda boarder, and gorillas have 90% human senses.
The journey begins from the Entebbe international airport, and we spend a night in Kampala hotel and the journey takes like 10 hours’ drive, we can able to a lunch before on the way. Later we check in in kisoro district hotel hotel.
DAY 2.
Very early in the morning, we wake up and go to the station in order to gather in the group for learning before tracking. After we go for gorilla tracking in the thick forests of Mgahinga of where gold meets silver. The tracking takes 5 hours, after we go back to the hotel and rest.
DAY 3.
We go for Batwa trail tour RIGHT FROM Mgahinga Park and do the natures walk; this tour for Batwa takes 3 hours. Automatically after the trail, After the Batwa trail and then we make a tour to Lake Bunyoyi the second deepest lake in the whole world after Lake Tanganyika, we also experience the Zip Lining on Lake Bunyonyi. After all that tour then we go the hotel and rest.
DAY 4.
We proceed to Kampala and also we get the lunch on the way, on the way still we have to viewing the and tour the Equator. Then we check in to Kampala hotel.
DAY 5.
We do shopping if the client wants on his or her own expenses and after we proceed to airport according to the flights schedule.
On the way to airport, Ruhanga Eco Safaris offer to a client view the Lake Victoria one of the largest lake in the whole world, and there we take like an hour, experiencing the nature and the breath of the lake to the pearl of Africa.
