Kibale national park is known as ‘’ The primate capital of the world’’ and it’s largest tract of forest is protected within the 795km2 kibale national park, and established as a forest reserve in the 1940’s, Kibale was upgraded to national park status in recognition of a biodiversity that includes 350 tree species, 71 species of mammal and 370 bird species .
DAY. 1.
We begin as ‘’Ruhanga Eco Safaris’’ for picking a client from the airport and after we go the hotel in Kampala to rest.
DAY. 2.
VERY early in the morning after breakfast, we travel direct to Kibale national park fortpotal in Kabalore district. But on the way, we have lunch, after we travel again because the journey from Kampala takes like 9 hours’ drive to kibale national park. And we check in the hotel that day when we reached, dinner and rest.
DAY. 3.
We wake up early morning and go for chimpanzee trekking, The bird watching, seeing the different types of monkeys like golden monkeys, and the different bird species at the albertine rift region. There are two tourism sites in kibale national park. The main hub is at kanyanchu, 35km southeast of fort portal on a newly tarmacked road leading to kamwenge and Ibanda. A secondary site is found at Sebitoli, 16km east of Fort portal on the Kampala road.
DAY. 4.
We plan in the morning to travel back to Kampala after having our breakfast, we can have again our lunch on the way maybe from Fort portal of kyenjojo and it depends for how we travel. After lunch automatically we come back and check in to the hotel in Kampala, having dinner and rest.
DAY 5.
After having the breakfast we load and plan in the morning to go for shopping in Kampala on the client’s expenses if he or she need to do that shopping. Then after shopping our lunch is ready, in this time we are ready for the airport to go back, but still on the way we stop by in order for viewing the lake victoria, one of the freshest waters in world.
